On the 20th of September, the DSWAC gathered up at Balsam lake again to rebuild a section of over 100 year old wall that had been damaged by passing vehicles (snowplows and speeding motorists). The day was a great success. People seemed to quickly get the knack of working with the lovely flat limestone. We will be back in the spring to mend more of the north side of the road. Thanks to Nan for supplying lunch and tea for everyone.
