Joynt's
Seminar 2004 Pictures

June 12th
2004, the Dry Stone Wall Association of Canada held another seminar
near Port Hope Ontario, taught by John Shaw-Rimmington and Dean McClellan.
What a beautiful sunny day for learning how to build walls. And what a
fabulous property at John and Diana Joynts to hold this event.

At the beginning of the day we had a huge disorganised pile of rocks.

Fourteen men and women rallied together and combined their skills and
energy to transform the many tons of random granite fieldstone into a
work of art.

At the end of the day we all stood back and felt a real sense of accomplishment.
We had made something beautiful out of the stuff most people toss in the
ditches.

Great job done. Another part of Canada reclaimed from senseless messiness
and clutter, by the introduction of a well built dry stone wall!

The complete "before and
after."
