Balsam Lake May 14, 2005 Pictures In early May 2005 the DSWAC completed two repairs to heritage dry stone walls near Balsam Lake as part of an annual dry stone walling workshop in that area.
Two teams of men and women pulled apart the damaged walls and rebuilt them in one day, under the guidance and direction wallers John Shaw-Rimmington and Matthew Ring. It is good to see that these lovely historic Canadian dry stone walls are gradually being brought back to their former glory. Thanks again to Nan and Donna for providing lunch for everyone.
