Headwaters Healthcare, Orangeville, Ontario is pleased to announce the launch of the new entrance to the hospital, which we feel will be a wonderful environmental and historical natural garden. The focal point will be a massive dry stone wall in the form of a wheel. Five large specimen native trees will be growing from the top of the wheel, which will be surrounded by a field of Ecograss and wildflowers, with numerous other trees growing in the field. This fall the first part of the project was completed. It was truly amazing to see so many people who hadnever met each other and most who had never worked on a dry stone wall, come together and listen and learn under John Shaw-Rimmington and then produce such great quality, as a team and through very difficult weather. Many of the people who have worked on the project said it was a quite wonderful experience. We also had a lot of positive comments from other people in the community saying what a great community project this is and how can they help. This is truly what it is all about!
