Stabbing Westward is an American band from Chigago. They have three albums released. Their first was called Ungod. It was very industrial and didn't really lift off. Wither, Blister, Burn, and Peel was more moderate industrial with hit song, What do I have to do? Darkest Days, their most recent album is a combination of the two. It's very industrial but it's a very emotional industrial rather than sonic indusrial. Great beats, experimentation, guitars, and deep lyrics. Latest hit is Save Yourself. An amazing band full of emotion and heavy sound.
Spirit Of The West is a Celtic origin band from the west coast of Canada. They've had an outstanding nine albums! Their first four albums were quite Celtic but they've converted to a more Celtic rock. It's quite a great combination. Their album Save This House is what really popularized them with their amazing Home For A Rest song. A great, uplifting, exiting, fun, drinking song. Their most recent album is called Weights And Measures which was released in late Sep. '97. A fantastic band with high energy and creative lyrics.
Moist is a Canadian band with albums: Silver and Creature. Silver had the hits Push and Silver. Creature was released in late '96 and is an amazing album. Resurrection was their best hit but they also four other songs that made it to the hit parade like Tangerine as well. With great rock and cool lyrics, Moist has made it to be one of the best bands in Canada.
The Age Of Electric is a Canadian band with a self titled album and Make A Pest A Pet. Their claim to fame is their song, Remote Control but my favourite song is I Don't Mind. They have a great sound! Easy to play yet extremely catchy songs. Great alternative!
